Biography:
Dee Dee Jones Bassi was born in Laurel, Mississippi, on September 9, 1963. She attended Mississippi State University where she graduated in 1985 with a Bachelor of Professional Accountancy degree.

Ms. Bassi worked as an auditor with Arthur Andersen & Co. in their New Orleans office from 1985 to 1989. She earned her CPA in 1988 and is a licensed CPA in Mississippi.

Ms. Bassi graduated from Tulane School of Law in May 1992. She became an associate with Gibbes Graves and was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 1992.

Ms. Bassi practices primarily in estate planning and probate, corporate law, municipal law, and commercial litigation. She is admitted to practice before all Mississippi state courts, federal district courts and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of Jones County Bar Association and the Trust and Estates Section of The Mississippi Bar.
