Biography:
Bill Mullins was born in Greenwood, Mississippi, on October 3, 1937, was reared in Noxubee County, Mississippi, and received his primary education in the Macon City Schools. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Millsaps in 1959.

Mr. Mullins earned an LL.B. degree from the University of Mississippi, received his license, and was admitted to the Mississippi Bar, all in 1962. That year, he began his career in Laurel, Mississippi, with this firm, then known as Welch, Gibbes & Graves. The firm's name was changed to Gibbes & Graves in 1964 and has had several changes since. He became a partner in 1967. He was Managing Partner for 30 years. He too senior status in 2002 and still practices part time.

Mr. Mullins is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Mississippi, the U. S. Fifth Circuit, and the District of Columbia Circuit Courts of Appeal. He is a member of the Jones County, Mississippi, and American Bar Associations.

Mr. Mullins concentrates his practice in the areas of utility law, corporate law, and wills, trusts and estate law. He has recently been certified as a mediator by the Mississippi Bar.
